Whether you are seeing an individual or a couple, the family is always in the room. We are beginning an ongoing Emotionally Focused Family Therapy Consult Group. We will meet twice a month to explore, process, and show videos of your work (if you have them). Having videos is not necessary.
Some people that would like to come are experienced family therapists, while others may be beginngers or just seeing couples and individuals, but want to understand family dynamics; either way, there is a place for you here. Even if all you do is couple work, understanding what is happening when your couple is talking about parenting conflicts (and so many of them do) is important. We can help you understand the attachment systems running in families that are more relevant to helping them than the traditional way EFT relates to conflict between romantic partners.
Location: 1107 Ovejas Ave., Davis, CA 95616
Cost: $100 per two-hour group
Time: Thursdays from 9:00 – 11:00 am, every other week
Dates: 5/17, 5/31, 6/28, 7/12, 7/26, skip August, 9/20, 10/4, 10/18, 11/1, 11/15, 11/29, and 12/13/2018 (2019 dates to follow).
